The Sage People team is looking forward to next month’s trip to Chicago for this year’s Sage Summit. We’ll be demonstrating our global HR solution and new integration with Sage X3 as well as featuring in a number of presentations. With our newly extended strategic partnership creating a buzz around both organizations, it’s a particularly exciting prospect.
Even without that extra edge, it’s a pretty incredible event. Billed as the largest gathering of small and medium businesses in the world, Sage expects around 20,000 delegates to converge on McCormick Place for four days of networking, learning and technology discovery, starting in on 25 July.
For starters, there are the headline speakers; uber-entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson, celebrity digital business folk Gwyneth Paltrow, Zooey Deschanel and Ashton Kutcher, Kickstarter founder Yancey Strickler, and Shark Tank stars Daymond John and Robert Herjavec. That’s a line-up that’s going to pack a punch and create an ocean of talking points.
Then there’s the exclusive partner day. Now that we’re one of Sage’s key partners, there’s even more for us to learn and contribute as we meet and exchange insights with other Sage family members, including Salesforce, Microsoft and a host of specialist software providers. We’re promised the inside scoop on what’s new for Sage.
There are still delegate seats available, if you fancy catching up with us along with a legion of future-focused business and tech contacts (not to mention those celebs). There are also over 300 hands-on learning sessions and in-depth product training. Go to the Sage Summit website to find out more and register – there’s a promo code for bookings before 30 June.
Oh… and as if that’s not enough, there’s the closing celebration on 28 July. Sage invites everyone to unwind on the shores of Lake Michigan with drinks and eats laid on, against the background of the city skyline. For entertainment? Only legendary Grammy-nominated band The Killers performing their biggest hits, including Mr Brightside and Somebody Told Me. Yes, we’ll be there…
