Thank you to all who attended yesterday’s HR Trends in Technology breakfast at the Gherkin in London. We were delighted to welcome senior HR and enterprise applications directors from more than 20 disruptive global technology companies. Attendees received an exclusive copy of our ‘Let’s get IT started’ research report which is now available to download.
Guests enjoyed breakfast while Adam Hale, CEO, presented the findings of Sage People’s latest research project, which involved in-depth conversations with more than 40 technology companies across the UK to assess attitudes surrounding HR systems and common issues businesses are experiencing. Some of the stats, such as the fact that 88% of companies interviewed are feeding their payroll manually from their ERP system, were particularly surprising.
Roddy Temperley, Group HR Director at global experience management vendor SDL, presented his company’s business transformation project and how Sage People was key to linking up SDL’s global workforce spread across 40 countries. The event also served as the inaugural “Sage People Regatta”, a series of events to be held in London and the Thames Valley dedicated to establishing a networking community for thought leaders in HR. To find out more about the Sage People Regatta, please join the LinkedIn group.
