For our first release of 2017, our development team has been working on enhancing the self-service experience for your people, so that they now have access to more of what they need, when they need it.

Reports for everyone, at the click of a button.
Companies have always used data science to understand their customers, and now we can start to do the same for our workforce by using people science. Everybody loves data, but nobody enjoys the days and weeks it takes to build a report. That’s why we’ve introduced WX Reports, which puts accurate reports into the hands of your people. It gives your managers and employees instant and on-demand visibility of reports, directly via Sage People’s WX self-service portal.
This means that your HR department won’t be constantly bombarded by requests for headcount reports. Furthermore, the reports will always be accurate and up-to-date, because they are driven by the single source of data held within the Sage People platform. HR and administrators can configure reports to suit whatever the need, so they can label them and specify who can view them. You can also create different visual graphs for each report, at the click of a button.
iOS mobile app available for download.
Kon-Tiki brings the iOS mobile app out of pilot phase and into the Apple App Store for general availability. This gives your people access to the full WX experience on the go, wherever you are, in a scaled down and beautiful form. Actions, communications, personal details, team insights, it’s all available on your iOS device whenever you need. The Android version is just going through some final testing, so watch this space for that version.
Enhancements to self-service recruiting.
We all know how tricky and expensive recruiting new people can be. That’s why we’ve made it easier for hiring managers to approve vacancies and job offers, so that you can fill vacancies more quickly and reduce the time and cost to hire. Approvers will now receive notifications to tell them they’ve got a vacancy or job offer to confirm, which they can now do directly on WX and via the mobile app. By making the process quicker and more efficient, your hiring managers can focus more of their efforts on people marketing and creating a great candidate experience in order to bring the best talent through the door.
Delegate access to assistants.
Assistants are Very Important People who are often slowed down because they have to keep logging into systems as other people, in order to complete tasks on their behalf. With the introduction of WX Delegated Access for Assistants, you can now give assistants a much better experience by giving them the ability to view information, receive notifications, and complete actions and approvals on another person’s behalf. Magic.
Objective setting can be a tedious task, especially if you have a team of 20 who are all measured by the same indicators. Metrics Review allows your managers to measure an employee’s performance against a set of pre-defined indicators, which helps them assess performance against a set of standardized measures. By saving time on the system, your managers can spend more time having the continuous conversations, and that’s what matters the most.
If you offer stock options as part of your benefits package, you can use the Sage People platform to set up, grant and maintain these for your employees. With our Kon-Tiki release, you can now give your employees visibility of their stock option details in WX. This will reduce the number of queries you receive and give your budding investors access to their stock info at any time.
Benefits enrollment can be tricky to manage, especially when an employer offers a range of benefits, each with different enrollment windows. Our latest release makes it much easier for your people to manage benefits enrollment with smarter automation, giving them better visibility of enrolment activity, as well as the flexibility to manage to track enrolments much more easily.
This is particularly useful for managing any benefits offered as part of Open Enrollment in the US, enabling you to provide the necessary communications and updates more easily in line with legislation and employee expectations.
– Benefit related information is all stored in one place for each employee, making it easier to access the information.
– Specify start and effective start dates, both retrospectively and in the future.
– Costs from one benefit plan can be easily linked to another, which means you can apply common parameters without having to duplicate data entry.
