It’s official: Sage People is continuing its rapid expansion by launching in Germany this week. The award-winning system will help mid-sized organizations in Germany increase workforce visibility, boost productivity, and provide better experiences across the workforce. It will also help German businesses become compliant with new EU regulations such as GDPR.
The launch coincides with Europe’s largest HR fair in Cologne this week – Zukunft Personal – where the Sage People team is out in full force, showcasing the global cloud HR and People System that transforms the way mid-sized organizations acquire, retain, manage and engage their workforce.
HR and People leaders are increasingly realizing that the nature of work, the workplace and the workforce is changing. HR processes are evolving, driven by digital technologies; there is the growth in contingent workers and the rise of the gig economy; new EU GDPR regulations are creating new risks for businesses where HR leaders are already struggling with workforce visibility; and the global skills crisis and ongoing war for talent is forcing companies to not only manage, but engage, their employees.
Organizations and HR and People leaders in Germany are not immune to these challenges – and, like their global counterparts are finding that traditional HR systems are unable to keep up.
Modern workforces and successful businesses, in Germany and worldwide, need a new breed of HR systems.
In short, Sage People helps companies solve the problem of engagement and productivity so that they can focus on keeping and attracting the best talent.
Implemented quickly and simple to use, with the award-winning system organizations can gain workforce visibility on demand, gaining actionable insights for smarter people decisions; boost HR productivity by automating manual and labour-intensive administrative processes; and deliver great workforce experiences, driving engagement and performance across the business.
Ran on the Salesforce App Cloud, Sage People has processes and workflows built in, which enables companies to get set up and running in weeks, rather than months. Furthermore, everything is designed by configuration, which gives companies the autonomy and control to create relevant experiences, easily, and support new HR processes.
Speaking on the launch, Sage VP Rainer Downar said: “Sage People changes the ways, how well multinational companies can know, manage and motivate their employees – by increasing support, visibility, productivity and engagement of their employees . The global cloud HR & people system is a significant step on our way to providing midsized companies (Mittelstand) with the suitable cloud-based solutions for all business processes.”
Sage People’s presence in Germany expands on existing offices across North America, in the UK and Canada – with other hubs globally.
It comes after another year of stellar growth at Sage People. Earlier this year the company became one of the fastest growing tech scale-up in the UKs, before it was acquired by Sage in March this year.
And last year, the company attracted 60 new customers, joining the global portfolio of the likes of Klarna, Paddy Power Betfair, Skyscanner, SolarWinds, Trainline, and Trustpilot. In total, there are more than 150,000 Sage People users in over 140 countries.
