Deloitte Fast 50 and British Battler recognition for Fairsail
After twelve months of rapid development, growth and expansion, Sage People is delighted to have received a double whammy of industry recognition.
In the past week, we have been included in the Deloitte 2014 UK Technology Fast 50, recognizing Sage People as one of the fastest-growing technology companies in the UK; and most recently being recognized at the TechMarketView British Battlers event yesterday, as one of the twelve most innovative and agile companies in the UK this year.
The Deloitte UK Fast 50 is one of the UK’s foremost technology awards, recognizing the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in the UK. This prestigious award is presented to companies by ranking based on revenue growth over the last five years. It’s remarkable to think that the 50 fastest-growing British technology companies have generated over £963 million in total annual revenues in the last year, employ more than 8,500 people, and record an average five-year growth rate of 1,695 per cent, according to Deloitte.
What makes this particularly special is the knowledge that we are joining some of our customers and prestigious brand names in this list, including Monitise, and previously SDL. We are also among household names and success stories such as notonthehighstreet.com and Skyscanner. What a great group to be listed among.
Adam Hale, our CEO, was quoted as saying: “To be recognized with an award that has been previously presented to companies and customers like Betfair and SDL, that have been equally as disruptive in their own markets, brings us a great sense of appreciation and pride.”
These awards top off a stunning year of innovation and numerous customer wins for Sage People. Its ‘little battler’ credentials were in evidence when winning these huge customers, Betfair and SDL. This ability to win big whilst staving off challenges from HR industry stalwarts such as Workday and SuccessFactors, has shown the business community that Sage People is more than comfortable to punch above its weight and that size really doesn’t matter when it comes to offering strength and agility.
