With talent management as one of the headline acts for HR in 2015, this comprehensive analysis of all vendors in this space provides all of the detail you might wish to consider, particularly given the rapid changes in this area. The report measures a number of vendors across performance management from employee management and goal setting to integration and overall capabilities. Gartner’s ‘Market Guide for HCM Suite Applications’ produced at the end of last year, provides a really useful (and easily digestible) evaluation of the global market’s HRMS vendors, and again, we were very pleased to see Sage People featured. The report was produced by Gartner Research Director, Yvette Cameron, and is intended to help businesses identify HRMS providers whose products align well with their own organization’s industry, geography and size.
The report highlights Sage People’s growing presence in key business regions, as well as our expanding industry expertise – two factors that are strengthening our bid for leadership in global cloud HRMS for the mid-size market.
In addition to detailing who’s who in the global HRMS market, the report also highlighted a number of wider industry observations such as the fact that ever more businesses are looking to reduce integration challenges and make use of easier and more detailed reporting and analytics – all good news for us! Also encouraging was the confirmation that cloud deployment continues to be a growing trend in HR applications. In fact, ‘SaaS spend across all HCM technologies is growing faster than spend on non-SaaS, and will represent 50% or more of HCM technology spend by 2017’.
