From customers to cake: Sage People flourishes in the mid-size market

It’s been an exciting few months at Sage People – as well as welcoming aboard our 60th member of the team and opening a new office in Orlando, FL, we’ve added fantastic customers Skyscanner, Zipcar and Westcon Group to our growing community.

We also recently partnered with Sage to power the HR component of their cloud solution, SageLive, launched our own survey into the use of data analytics in HR, and last week held a charity bake-off in aid of The Prince’s Trust.

While the cake was certainly a highlight, it’s the customers we’re most proud of – but why are such (and so many) internationally acclaimed global brands choosing Sage People to head up their HR?

Along with Skyscanner, Zipcar and Westcon Group, major organizations including Commonwealth Care Alliance have also selected us over industry leaders like Workday and SAP SuccessFactors.

It’s been said that our focus on meeting the new and ever-developing needs of the entire workforce, rather than focussing on the traditional requirements of HR alone, is proving especially pivotal in helping us to carve a niche in the market. We’re forward thinking, and as our CEO Adam Hale explained to Personnel Today, our focus is on innovation in HR – “less formality, more agility.”

We are also leading the way in the deployment of HR analytics, and have written a lot on the topic lately – but suffice to say that being clued up on what your people are doing, and how they are performing, will undoubtedly have a huge part to play in the future of the workforce.

As TechMarketView recently noted in their write up on our progress, Sage People is making quite a stir in the world of HR tech – but we’re certainly not done yet. Having grown by 400% in the last two years alone, we have ambitious plans to continue our expansion in the USA and further penetrate the UK and EMEA markets. With new customers enlisting Sage People’s HRMS offering all the time, our multinational employee base is expanding too.

There’s a bright future ahead, then – and not just for Sage People, but for workforces worldwide. It’s all change for HR, and we’re proud to be a leader in the pack.
