Q: What do a HR leader, a tech analyst and a crystal ball all have in common?
A: They can see all see the future of HR!
Earlier this year saw the leading minds from the worlds of HR, tech and academia gather at Sage People’s Company Kick Off.
Representatives from heavyweight brands as diverse as Innocent Drinks, Henley Business School, Serco and TechMarketView were all in attendance at the annual gathering, which brings together some of the best and brightest thought leaders to discuss what the big industry topics are likely to be for the year ahead.
Covering everything from the female leadership pipeline, facilitating positive business culture, and empowering the workforce through to mobile working opportunities, delegates participated in a lively and thought-provoking debate. It was clear that all of these themes are currently impacting HR professionals in the modern business world.
Towards the end of the day, conversation turned to the question of how HR will change over the next two years. Casting his eye into the future, Sage People’s Non-Executive Director, Geoff Lloyd, predicted that HR will play a crucial role in connecting people so they can be more productive in their working environments, but also procure a workplace environment that is itself more productive and provide employee experiences that are more positive.
