Sage People has been appointed by Mitsubishi UFJ Fund Services (Mitsubishi UFJ), a global asset administrator, to provide its global cloud HR management system (HRMS). It was selected following a competitive tender process to supply its cloud based HMRS platform to support 500+ of Mitsubishi UFJ’s employees in locations including: the USA, Canada, Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, the UK, Ireland and Japan.

Mitsubishi UFJ required a global cloud HR management system to consolidate its workforce data into one system of record, while requiring minimal technical support. It chose Sage People for its integration with multiple payroll systems, self-service functionality and reporting and management dashboards. They expect the platform to boost performance across the organization with significant time and cost savings and better risk management. Sage People’s solution will help improve employee engagement through enhanced and integrated communications, resulting in better employee experiences.

We chose Sage People for its comprehensive, straightforward system, which will support our business and provide great value as we continue to expand. The partnership relationship that Sage People offers was an important deciding factor,” said Tim Thornton, Chief Data Officer, at Mitsubishi UFJ Fund Services.

“It’s a great honor to be selected by Mitsubishi UFJ, a growing business, which really believes its staff are the key to success,” said Adam Hale, CEO at Sage People. “The Mitsubishi UFJ HR team is very excited about the flexibility and ease of use of our system, and the speed of implementation is expected to be rapid, given the agility of the team and the versatility of the product.”

The project will begin with the consolidation of data, to achieve a consistent format and meet quality standards. This will be followed by a detailed discovery process and initial implementation. The platform will allow team members to keep their personal information current, so that staff can have a global view of their colleagues, no matter where they are based. Performance management and talent acquisition are likely to be the focus of the next stage of deployment.
