Fairsail recognized by Financial Times in FT1000
Company recognized as the 64th fastest growing business in Europe
The rankings are out – Fairsail (now Sage People) has been named by the Financial Times as the 64th fastest growing company in Europe. The Reading-based firm, recently acquired by Sage, features alongside over 200 other UK firms in the list, cementing the UK’s position as a hotbed for business innovation and growth. The FT1000 list – compiled in conjunction with Statista – features the 1000 companies in Europe that have achieved the highest percentage growth in revenues between 2012 and 2015.
Fairsail has grown from being a £1m to a £10m ($12.5m) revenue business over the past three years, gaining over 150,000 users in businesses headquartered in over 20 countries as demand rockets for its market-leading software among mid-sized multinational organizations around the world.
Fairsail won 60 new customers alone last year, including PaddyPower Betfair, HMD Global, Matchtech, Mitsui, Trustpilot and Tradeshift, and doubled its workforce to 135 employees globally.
Adam Hale, former CEO of Fairsail (now EVP of Sage People) explains: “While the last three years have been incredible, the demand we’re seeing suggests the years ahead are set to be even better. As part of the Sage family, our growth will only continue to accelerate as we access new markets and bolster our presence around the world.”
An FT special report on the FT1000 will be published online worldwide and in print in Europe on 24th April 2017.
