Wins prestigious award in recognition of  product innovation, customer success and soaring growth

Sage People, provider of global cloud HRMS to mid-size organizations, has received the award for HCM product of the year, at this week’s UK Cloud Awards 2015; organised by the Cloud Industry Forum and Cloud Pro, and co-sponsored by Microsoft, HP and Ingram Micro.

The UK Cloud Awards were established in 2014 to highlight innovation and achievement in the British cloud computing sector, benchmarking the amazing cloud leadership in the UK. Sage People was awarded ‘product of the year’, in the HCM category, in recognition of its clear focus on the mid-market and the significant innovation it’s brought to customers; enabling organizations to improve engagement and productivity by delivering great workforce experiences, quickly and cost effectively.

Alex Hilton, Cloud Industry Forum CEO, said, “The last four years have seen cloud technologies increasingly become a “strategic consideration” for IT buyers, which is a trend the awards aim to celebrate.” While, Cloud Pro founding editor, and UK Cloud Awards judge, Max Cooter commented, “The level of interest in this year’s UK Cloud Awards has been higher than anyone could have hoped, and the quality of the entries made for a difficult judging process.”

Adam Hale, Sage People CEO said, “We were absolutely thrilled to be nominated for the award and then to be officially announced as HCM product of the year, well I’m still on ‘Cloud 9’. It’s a huge achievement and recognition for us all – the team, our partners and our customers – especially, after a record number of entries and some stiff competition in our category.”

He continued, “This award highlights our commitment in continuing to provide innovative HR solutions, and the great work of our team in supporting our customers’ needs. As 2015 continues, we look forward to working with new and existing customers to deliver consistently great workforce experiences.”
