Sage People encourages home workers to share their ‘Work From Home’ selfies on Twitter #wfhselfie

As new legislation comes into place on 30th June, which gives all employees the right to request flexible working, Sage People asks individuals to share ‘work from home selfies’ on Twitter using the tag #WFHselfie.

Sage People, the UK cloud-based HCM vendor, is asking those that work from home to share their ‘work from home selfies’ to promote working from home as part of a flexible working approach.

Following tube strikes in London and research showing that the average commuter spends a year of their life travelling the Government is confident that the introduction of flexible working for all will bring benefits to businesses as well as a more engaged workforce. Sage People is also keen to highlight ways to work more efficiently and one way is working from home, even for just one day a week.

Sage People CEO, Adam Hale, comments: “Offering flexible working to all is a great legislation move which highlights a shift in traditional working patterns and puts an emphasis on human capital. As more companies move to the cloud they realise that many tasks that were once only accessible in the office can be accessed from anywhere. We thought asking people to share the benefits of working from home through selfies would be an engaging way to get employees and employers alike talking about flexible working and work from home initiatives.”

To get involved Sage People is asking individuals to use the hashtag #WFHselfie on Twitter.
