Once again, Sage People’s enterprise win rate, customer delivery, and customer advocacy have positioned Sage People on the Fosway 9-Grid™ as a Core Leader for the third year running.

The Fosway 9-Grid™ is a unique, five-dimensional model that assesses the relative position of solutions and providers in learning and talent systems markets – in this case, Cloud HCM (Human Capital Management). Designed to support companies with practical decision-making, the Fosway 9-Grid™ compares vendor solutions in context of client organizations’ different priorities.

So, what does Sage People’s position mean, according to Fosway’s analysis? The Core Leader zone occupied indicates strong capability, with a track record of high enterprise win rates, customer delivery and advocacy.

Our enterprise customer base is growing strongly

Today in total, there are now more than 400,000 Sage People users in over 150 countries. Organizations across many sectors have recognized the flexibility, agility and value Sage People brings to their workforces and People teams.

From UK broadcaster Channel Four, to global thermal utilities company Armstrong, we’ve welcomed a diverse group of new customers recently, supporting their strategic goals and decision-making with wide-ranging people insights and excellent workforce experiences.

We maintain our reputation for excellent customer delivery

Our customers constantly tell us that our product and service deliver the benefits we promise. User experience is one of the characteristics Fosway this year identifies as key to vendor selection and successful delivery.

For fast-growing loan investment company RateSetter, Sage People ticked all the boxes for user-friendliness as well as HR efficiency and overall workforce visibility. Ratesetter’s HR Director Rob Crowley explains: “We knew the decision to move to Sage People was the right one when, as after launch our Employee Net Promoter Score improved, with employees commenting positively and enjoying the advances in HR such as being able to manage and book their own time off.”

Our customers are our leading advocates

We’re proud of what our customers have to say about working with our people and our product. We know we’re doing the right things when clients like Jenny Woolley of Sydney-based Bridge Housing tell us: “The support we’ve received during the implementation has been fantastic. The team at Sage has been very responsive and I can’t stress enough how satisfied we are. We did a survey to see how our staff were feeling about the system, and the feedback we received was fantastic, they find it very user-friendly.”

David Wilson, CEO of Fosway, commented “Sage People continues to maintain a strong position in the mid-market, building on its existing strengths, maintaining a strong focus on customer success and increasingly leveraging Sage’s broader global scale and go to market presence.”

Sage People meeting customers’ needs for agility and resilience

The Fosway 9-grid™ highlights key market trends that have influenced customer attitudes and vendor performance in the last year – and what a year it’s been for organizations.

Managing attendance, absence, furlough, returns to work and shift flexibility in the pandemic have put classic HR functions back into the spotlight. It’s provided a whole new perspective when it comes to managing the workforce, particularly during challenging times. As a result, it’s accelerated the trend to digitize HR processes, as companies strive for ever-greater workforce agility and flexibility, to help them keep pace with external change.

It’s no surprise that flexible working is identified by Fosway as a permanent future reality for everyone, given the number of employees now working from home in response to COVID-19. In the report, Fosway explained: “Lockdowns have caused most organizations to accelerate flexible working as well as home working. New collaboration tools have been placed at employees’ fingertips and teams have had to adjust instantaneously. The true value in flexible working is […] how to transform work productivity.”

As a trusted provider of HR and People software for mid-sized organizations across the world, we understand the pressures HR teams are facing and the effect on their workforce. Sage People’s designed to increase business resilience by providing flexible, cloud HR that enabled workforce and HR agility and efficiency.

Sage People Vice President Paul Burrin explains: “Today, HR and People teams are under intense pressure to drive business transformation through innovative and flexible working practices, so it’s more important than ever that we support them to shape and deliver excellent employee experiences responsively.

“We’re proud that our position on the Fosway 9-Grid™ confirms that we continue to anticipate and exceed mid-sized multinational organizations’ needs for a People platform to fuel vital agility in HR and throughout the whole workforce.”
