Adjusting Accrual Rates for a Reduced Work Days Pattern

Absence accruals will only adjust for different work day patterns if both the FTE is set for the employee, and Adjust Rate For FTE’is also be enabled in the Absence Accrual Rule.

The Work Days Pattern will not influence the accrual rate, regardless of how this is set for the employee.

For example, if you set an employee on a Tuesday-Thursday Work Days Pattern, their accrual will remain the same for an employee on a Monday-Friday pattern, unless both the FTE is set on the Team Member record (in this case to 0.6), and the accrual pattern they are on has FTE adjustments enabled.
