Recruit – Advertising Vacancies

The issue:

A customer was having to manually invite agencies to advertise his vacancy.  He wanted his short-listed agencies to be automatically invited to advertise his vacancy.

Question:

If I check the Agency invitation status to ‘Automatic’ instead of the usual ‘Manual’.  Then if on the Vacancy, I navigate to the ‘Sourcing’ button, I then go and check ‘Advertise to Agency’ would the agencies with ‘Automatic’ status be automatically invited to advertise?  AS LONG AS  ‘Advertise to Agency’ tick box is checked?

Also, if I have 10 Agencies – 5 manual and 5 automatic, will only the 5 that are automatic be sent an invite?

Answer:

Correct – the agencies with the invitation status ‘Automatic’ will automatically be invited as soon as you tick the ‘Advertise to Agencies’ tick box in the Vacancy.  The agencies with the status ‘Manual’ will not be automatically sent an invite to advertise the vacancy.

Additionally, the ‘Automatic’ setting acts as more of a default on the agency invitations.  An agency that is selected as Automatic can be un-ticked for a specific vacancy prior to advertising to vacancies if necessary.
